Workshop with David Beckstead

I have just completed a creative workshop with the famous David Beckstead who is an AWSOME wedding photographer. I thoroughly enjoyed the workshop as it opened my eyes to new ideas!
I love the idea of turning a bride into a gorgeous model and I want to do the same for each of the brides I shoot in the future.
These are some of my shots on the first day. I was focusing on LINES, SHAPES, REFLECTION and COMPOSITION!
Again something different that is more about ART!

Photographer of the Year 2007!

This is me and my wonderful and supportive fiance Eddie.

Before I started freelancing I worked for an amazing international company called Venture for the last 4 years. I was honoured to receive the PHOTOGRAPHER OF THE YEAR award for the company in 2007.

This is a video Venture Head Office created for our annual Gala dinner to present my work and award.

TRASH THE DRESS

I believe a CREATIVE SHOOT/TRASH THE DRESS is the most amazing thing you can do after your wedding. It is a fun and relaxed day out with preferabley the couple together or the bride on her own. It is a day where you do not have to worry about your dress getting dirty or worried that all your guests are waiting, it is just a day of celebration and a time where I can completely focus on being creative with you. I would love each of my couples to do this after a wedding as I love creating a piece of art for you, something you can potentially hang up and remember FOREVER!
Everyone knows a bride is at her prettiest on her wedding day as she has a special designed dress and is glowing with happiness so why not capture this.
The video below is the creative shoot of Marjon. It gives you an idea of what happens on this shoot and how much fun it is.
My role is to create a bespoke piece of art for you! This is EXTREMELY special and I guarantee you will love most of the images I create for you!!!!
A big thanks to videographer Aaron Rebarchek and Pasquale Caselle who did hair and makeup.

ENJOY THE VIDEO………..

Creative Bridal shoot with Marjon

After Marjon and Vino got married, Marjon decided to have a creative shoot, something different and arty. We decided to take her to an old run down barn, beautiful wheat field as well as a rocky patch. I was amazing to see how natural she felt in front of the camera, had I given her half a chance she would of tried to climb up a door way in her heavy dress just to get the best shot. I love it when brides let their head down and just go for it as it totally reflects in their images. We had an absolute blast and just couldn't put the camera down. Once it got dark we were having so much fun we decided to head back to the studio for a quick creative shoot. Marjon did a great job transforming from a dramatic bride to an undiscovered Channel model. I would like to say a big thank you to Pasquale Caselle who did her hair and makeup!

Creative Shoot-Cayman Island

We have been planning this shoot for weeks now and the day finally arrived. We took model Katie out to West bay for a creative flash shoot. Rebecca and I got so carried away climbing up unstable rocks exploring the imposible, before we knew it the sun had set and it was dark. What a pain getting down again but it was worth every bit of scratch and bruise. Katie did a great job and we got some amazing images in the end, so amazing we stayed up all night playing in photoshop with them. Here are just a few of the images.

Marjon and Vino's Wedding at the Ritz

Rebecca and I just finished shooting Marjon and Vino's Wedding at the Ritz Carlton in Grand Cayman. She was a beautiful bride with a GORGEOUS dress and a fun personality. Her wedding was fab and after spending 9 hours of fun shooting she got barefoot and ran through the sea!!!
